This Thanksgiving:
Take a Moment to Pause

It's the week of my favorite holiday:

Thanksgiving!

A holiday in my family that's always symbolized quality time with loved ones, and looking back on the year so far with all we have to be thankful for.

Since I can remember, we've always gone around the table, one by one, reflecting on achievements, overcoming hardships, and welcoming new opportunities. If someone couldn't make it, we'd call them on the phone so that everyone could talk to them.

All while sitting around a table filled with my favorite foods.

But it's never about the food on the table, it's about who's around it, and for those you're thankful for who can't be present.

Take a Moment to Pause This Thanksgiving

For one day, forget about what's going on at work.

For one day, forget about the argument you had with your sibling.

For one day, forget about all the things you have to do.

For one day, stop worrying about your workout routine or your diet.

For one day, pause. Pause all the noise.

Pause:

-To acknowledge all the hard work you've put in this year.

-To look around at the loving company that's sitting beside you.

-To be grateful for your health, and for the health of your loved ones.

With an Eventful 2025...

It's been a crazy year for the world as a whole.

And I'm sure...

There are things happening now, that are way worse than what your current situation.

Take the time this Thanksgiving to think about what you have, not what you have not.

In choosing to take this holiday to pause the noise and genuinely enjoy some quality time with your family, I hope you find a new-found feeling of fullness and gratitude.

It's also great opportunity to fill any cup-half-empty people out there.

This year I'm thankful for:

  • The opportunity to move across the country to start building the life of my dreams
  • My job: I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to change people's lives through health and fitness
  • Career advancement: Online Coaching
  • Mine and my family's health
  • Strengthening relationships
  • **LIFETIME GOAL: I'M HOSTING THANKSGIVING!**

What are you thankful for?

Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and good company.

Morgan Rebernik CPT, Online Coach January 19th, 2026 Fitness and Nutrition: You Give, and They Give Back ↓ I think a lot of people have a hard time understanding how rewarding working out and eating right can be. You give, and they give back. You give a little more, and you get back even more. What if I told you that working out and making changes to your diet could make you feel better throughout the day and maybe even help you sleep better at night? Fitness has so much more to offer than...

Morgan Rebernik CPT, Online Coach January 12th, 2026 Results: The Best Way to Get Them, and What Makes for a Successful Plan or Program ↓ I figured since we’re 2 weeks into January, it’s a perfect time to talk about goals (or resolutions), and what makes for the best plan or program. The best plan is the one that you can stick to. There is no perfect program or plan that’s going to get you the results you’re looking for if it can’t be maintained, or if you’re not willing to track and record...

Morgan Rebernik CPT, Online Coach January 5th, 2026 Recovery: Understanding the Signs of Being Under-Recovered and Knowing When to Pull Back ↓ Happy New Year! Hopefully the holiday season treated you and your loved ones well. In my newsletter last week, I talked about the importance of being able to recover from the work you're putting into your training and how you may be slowing down your progress, increasing your risk for injury, and potentially limiting your efforts for upcoming sessions...
